Enable Gps On Htc Touch Diamond Rogers

Rogers wireless services has a GPS (global positioning service) feature available for a select group of cellular devices registered on its network. One of these devices is the HTC Touch Diamond. The GPS services allow the user to navigate to any United States destination using the turn-by-turn directions displayed and read on the cellular device. Rogers provides this service to customers in the form of the "TeleNav" application technology. To use this application, the user must have a data plan on the account and the TeleNav add-on feature.


Instructions


1. Click "Start" and tap "Programs." Choose "QuickGPS" from the menu items.


2. Click "Download" to download the application data. Press "OK" to finish the download and return to the main screen. Scroll through the list of applications at the bottom of the screen and tap the "TeleNav" application.


3. Grant access allowing TeleNav to access the network by pressing "Allow this connection." Set the language preference by either pressing "English" or "Check for other languages." Agree to the terms of using the TeleNav application by pressing "Accept + Log In" at the top the screen.


4. Start using the GPS application by entering the destination and following the on-screen instructions.
