An SDHC memory card is a Secury Digital High Capacity memory card and has the ability to hold more data than standard SD flash memory cards. These cards are used in digital cameras, portable media players, smart phones and other portable devices. An SDHC card reader is an adapter for your computer that allows you to transfer data between the card and your desktop. Using the reader is fairly simple.
Instructions
1. Connect the SDHC Card Reader to your computer via USB cable.
2. Insert an SDHC memory card into the reader.
3. Double-click "Computer" on the desktop (or select it in the Start menu). The SDHC memory card will be listed within "Removable Storage." Double-click the SDHC memory card to open.
4. Drag the files from the SDHC card to your desktop to transfer files from the card to your computer. Drag the files from your computer into the SDHC folder to transfer files from your computer to the memory card. Allow the files to copy. Once copied, you can remove the SDHC memory card from the reader.
