Tracfone is a pay-as-you-go wireless phone company. With Tracfone service, you simply add airtime to your phone in increments. Tracfone has different model phones, including some made by Motorola. Trying to put ringtones on these phones can be fairly simple and hassle-free if you use the Tracfone website.
Instructions
1. Visit the Tracfone website at www.tracfone.com. You will be instructed to enter the serial number from your phone and your phone number to ensure that your phone model can receive ringtones.
2. Turn on your phone. Press "Browser" to launch the Tracfone Mobile Web. You will be charged 0.5 units for accessing the mobile web.
3. Select "Start Browser," then click on "Downloads" and "Ringtones".
4. Go to your desired categories of ringtones and press"select". For example, if you want to download Hip-Hop ringtones, then you would select "Hip-Hop".
5. Select the ringtone you desire by highlighting it and pressing "select".
6. Highlight "Buy" and press "select".
7. Close your browser by pressing the "PWR/END" button. Completely exit the browser by clicking "OK" when prompted.
8. You will receive a notification that you have a new message. Press "Accept" and open the message by pressing "Read".
9. Start your download by selecting "Go To". The browser will launch and your download will begin. When the download is complete your phone will display "Download Complete". Press "OK". The ringtone is now on your phone.
