What Is A Mino Flip

The Flip series of video cameras are compact video camera used for quick shots on the go. The cameras fit in most pockets and feature internal memory. The Mino Flip series includes two cameras, the Mino and the Mino HD.


Function


The Mino Flip is an instant video recorder that takes quick video clips. Users hold the wallet-sized camera in one hand while taping. Clips are uploaded through an attached USB input and can work with Flip software to instantly upload to websites like YouTube.


Size


The Mino HD comes in two sizes, the 120-minute, 8GB version and the 60-minute, 4GB version. The original Mino comes with a 60-minute, 2GB capacity.


Identification


Mino Flips come in multiple colors and customizable skins, but the standard colors are white and silver. The Mino HD features a 2-inch LCD viewing screen, while the original Mino has a 1.5-inch LCD screen.


Zoom


All of the cameras in the Mino line feature a 2X zoom that is activated by buttons on the back of the camera. No lens filters or extensions can be added to the devices.


Batteries


The Mino Flip series uses internal batteries that are charged through the USB port on a computer. The original Mino battery lasts around four hours, while the HD versions last around two hours.
