Microcassette recorders are voice recording devices commonly used by journalists, interviewers, college students and law enforcement. They also come in handy for anyone who needs to record important conversations or dictations. The Panasonic RN-305 is a standard microcassette recorder that fits in the palm of your hand and features one-touch recording, standard controls and speaker. This recorder is easy to use and includes a built-in microphone and voice-activated system for convenient automatic recording.

2. Press the "Stop/Eject" button on the side of the recorder twice to open the cassette compartment. Insert a blank microcassette and press "Rewind" to cue back to the start of the cassette.
3. Slide the "Tape Speed" selector on the side of the recorder to the desired setting. The "2.4" position is recommended for higher quality standard recording.
