Mount Night Vision Dvs Cameras

DVS cameras might help protect your home.

Night-vision cameras for digital video surveillance are a home security option. These cameras work during the day, and automatically switch to night vision when the sun goes down. The camera broadcasts a wireless signal to a computer in your home, and records without VHS or DVDs. A DVS camera requires a solid mounting-surface and a waterproof cover.

Instructions

1. Place the mounting plate on the preferred installation surface. Drill a pilot hole through the openings on the mounting plate and into the surface. Use a power drill and a small bit.

2. Place the mounting bolts -- one at a time -- through the holes on the plate. Drive each bolt through the plate -- and into the installation surface -- using a power drill and socket.

3. Mount the camera to the mounting plate with the metal stem on the camera. Slide the stem into the tension clamp. Tighten the clamp using a screwdriver.
