Install Telenav

Telenav is an application that supplies voice directions to a cell phone as well as other mobile devices that can connect to the Internet. Once installed on your mobile, you will get a visual of your driving directions as well as turn by turn instructions by voice. In order to get Telenav, you will need a data plan with your cell phone provider and pay a monthly subscription rate.


Instructions


1. Locate your cell phone provider and device through the Telenav website. In order to install Telenav, you need to own a compatible mobile phone. Mobile brands that work with Telenav include Blackberry, Palm, Samsung and Sony Ericcson.


2. Go to the web browser of your mobile device. Once the browser is launched, type the following URL into the address bar: http://ota.telenav.com.


3. Wait for a summary screen to appear on your mobile device. This screen will give you details about the Telenav download, such as file size and version available. Review the information and then select "Download."


4. Allow the Telenav download to install on your mobile device. Once it is finished, an icon should appear on the menu screen with the Telenav logo. Open the application.


5. Follow the prompts in order to finish Telenav installation. You will need to set your language preferences, choose a password and agree to the terms of service before you are able to use the program.
