Burn A Cd Off Of An Ipod Playiist

The digital media player iTunes can play and organize digital media files on a computer. It is also used to create custom playlists of song files for an iPod. The playlists then have to burned to a CD on the computer's CD or DVD burner drive. Once a playlist is burned to a CD, that CD can play those songs on any CD player.


Instructions


1. Open the iTunes program on your computer.


2. Select "iTunes" from the main toolbar menu and choose the "Preferences" option.


3. Click the "Burning" tab.


4. Select the "Audio CD" option and select the desired gap between songs from the drop-down menu. Click "OK" to save your CD burn settings.


5. Right-click an iPod playlist from the "Playlist" subsection on the left side of the iTunes window.


6. Check the bottom of the iTunes window for the running time of the playlist. Blank CDs typically hold either 74 or 80 minutes of music. If a song needs to be cut, select it and press "Delete" from the keyboard.


7. Select the option "Burn Playlist to a Disk."


8. Insert a blank CD into the CD or DVD burner drive on the computer.


9. Click the "Burn" button. iTunes will prompt you when the burn process is complete and it is safe to remove the CD.
