Connect The Tv Cable To An A/V Receiver

A home theater setup will generally consist of a larger screen HDTV as well as a set of surround sound speakers. This setup is further complicated by the addition of Blu-ray players, DVD players and video game systems. An A/V receiver will connect all of your audio and video devices in one place, allowing you to leave your TV on a single input and change devices through the A/V receiver. Connecting your cable TV through the systems highest quality HD connectors will give you the best picture possible.

Instructions

1. Connect your source cable line into the "ANT IN" input on the back of your cable box.

2. Connect the "HDMI OUT" output on your cable box to the "HDMI IN" input on your A/V receiver with an HDMI cable.

3. Connect the "HDMI OUT" output on your A/V receiver to the "HDMI IN" input on your television. Your TV cable will now be connected through your A/V receiver, and the cable signal will be available on your television.
