Use The Date Stamp On An Olympus Camera

Many people say a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes, however, those words aren't enough when it comes to your photographic memories. By going through your Olympus camera's settings, you can create a print reservation, which allows you to add the time and date to your pictures and print them from your home printer or at a photo developing center.


Instructions


Setting the Time


1. Turn your camera on.


2. Press the "Menu" button, which is in the lower right hand corner of the camera.


3. Use the arrow keys, which surround the "OK" button in the middle of the camera's control buttons, scroll to the "Setup" menu and press the OK button.


4. Scroll to "Date/Time" and press the OK button.


5. Set the year by scrolling to the correct month by using the up or down arrow and then press the right arrow to move onto the month option. Repeat this process to set the month and day.


Printing the Date on Your Pictures


6. Press the "Playback" button on your camera. The playback button is the button with the right facing arrow on the right hand side of the camera.


7. Use the directional arrow keys, which surround the "OK" button in the middle of the camera, to scroll to "Print Order" and press the "OK" button.


8. Scroll to the individual print option, which is the first option and looks like a single sheet of paper, and press the "OK" button.


9. Use the directional arrows to scroll to the image that you want to add the time and date to and press the "OK" button.


10. Use the directional arrows to scroll to date and press the "OK" button and scroll to the time option and press the "OK" button to add the time to the photo. Use the arrow to scroll to "Set" and press the "OK" button to save the time and date addition.
