Recondition A Nickelmetal Hydride Battery

Recondition your Nickel-Metal Hydride battery today

Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries are rechargeable batteries that have gained popularity because they have greater overall operation time and energy capacity than Nickel-Cadmium (NiCad) battery cells. Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries are also made from more environmentally friendly components. If your NiMH battery is holding less time per charge, reconditioning the battery may return it to optimum performance level.

Instructions

1. Insert your NiMH battery into your NiMH-operated device. Disconnect any power adapters from the device and turn off any energy-saving or auto-shutoff features. Run the device on the NiMH's power until it is completely discharged.

2. Remove the NiMH battery and insert it into your NiMH battery recharger. Plug your charger into a power outlet.

3. Watch for the power indicator light on your charger to turn green, indicating your NiMH battery is fully charged. Your Ni-MH battery is now reconditioned and can be returned to normal use.
