Troubleshoot Wildview Xtreme 2

The Wildview Xtreme 2 is a wild game camera that takes video and still pictures. It uses a memory card to store the videos and images. If you are having problems with your Wildview Xtreme 2 camera, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take before resorting to contacting the retailer. You don't have to be a programmer or camera specialist to fix your Xtreme 2.

Instructions

1. Check the battery if you cannot get the Xtreme 2 to turn on. The battery might be dead. Connect the power adapter to the 12V DC jack on the bottom right side of the Xtreme 2. Allow the battery to charge for two hours before you use the camera.

2. Use a lens cleaner to clean the lens on the front of the camera if you are getting blurry images in your video or pictures.

3. Check the SD card on the right side of the Wildview if the videos or pictures are not being taken. The SD card might not be compatible with camera or it might not be formatted properly. Format the SD card on your computer so it is compatible.

4. Use the picture quality switches to adjust the picture if you aren't getting the proper resolution. Adjust the time switch if the video or pictures are getting cut off. You can increase or decrease the time when the video and pictures occur.

5. Tighten the strap on your Xtreme 2 if the camera shakes while taking video or pictures. Make sure the camera is secured to the tripod you are using it on.
