Connect A Dell Projector To A Television

Dell is most well-known for their personal desktop and laptop computers. However, Dell also manufactures projectors as well. There are several outlets in which you can connect a projector, including your television. To do this, you simply need the correct cables to connect the dell projector to your television.

Instructions

1. Power off both your Dell projector and your television. Before connecting any cables, you will want all devices turned off.

2. Connect your composite cables to your Dell projector. Dell projectors have several ways to output video, one of which is through an RCA connection. Connect the corresponding red, yellow, and white cables to the projector.

3. Connect the other end of the composite cables to your television. All televisions will have RCA inputs. Connect red to red, yellow to yellow, and white to white.

4. Turn on your television and select the input which you have connected. Some televisions have multiple inputs, so you will have to select the correct input.

5. Power the projector on. The projector will automatically recognize that it is connected to an outside source. Your projector should now be successfully connected to your television.
