Batteries Plus
is a website that has a wide selection of different batteries, ranging from laptops to MP3 players. The site also has a variety of different cell phone batteries as well. So if your cell phone battery is about to die, you may want to avoid a trip to your wireless provider's store and just purchase a battery either from a brick-and-mortar location of Batteries Plus or from the company's website.
Instructions
1. Navigate to batteriesplus.com (see link in References).
2. Click the "I need a battery for a..." tab at the top of the screen. This brings a new pull-down menu. From the menu, select "Cell or Smartphone."
3. Scroll through the brand selection of wireless phones until you find your phone manufacturer, such as Motorola.
4. Click on the model of the cell phone you have from the listing. If there are batteries available for the particular phone, they will be listed. Click to place your battery purchase in your shopping cart. You will be asked to type in your zip code. The site will show you the nearest store to you with the available battery.
