Is There A Picasa App For Blackberry

You can upload pictures from your BlackBerry to your Picasa account via an app or unique email address.


Picasa is a free picture-editing application available for Windows, Mac and Linux systems, and is not available for BlackBerry smartphones. But third-party uploading tools are available for connecting to Picasa's online component and your online picture albums. The third-party tools are not free, but they do let you send pictures taken with your BlackBerry to your online Picasa albums.

Picasa Auto Photo Uploader includes a user-friendly interface and a quick installation process. The program also includes an automatic uploading wizard that lets you schedule the date and time you want the application to upload your photos. Picasa Auto Photo Uploader is $0.99 (as of October 2011) and your BlackBerry smartphone must be running 4.2.0 or higher system software. Navigate your BlackBerry's Internet browser to the "Auto Photo Uploader for Picasa" link and click the "Purchase" button to download and install the application.

vCasa for BlackBerry v1.2.5 lets you upload, view and manage pictures from your BlackBerry to your Picasa albums all through an easy-to-navigate application. The program also lets you share pictures with other Picasa members as well as comment on pictures within one or more Picasa albums. vCasa for BlackBerry v1.2.5 is $2.99 (as of October 2011) and requires 5.0 or higher system software. Navigate your BlackBerry's Internet browser to the "vCasa for BlackBerry" link and click the "Add to Cart" button to download and install the application.


Uploading Via Picasa Email


You can also upload photos from your BlackBerry smartphone by sending the files to a free personalize Picasa email address. Navigate your BlackBerry's Internet browser to the "Picasa Web Albums Settings" link to create your personalize Picasa email address. Click the check box next to "Allow me to upload photos by email." Enter a word containing six to 15 letters and digits in length in the box next "Enter a secret word:." Your personalize Picasa email address will appear next to "Email photos to this address:." Write down the address and email pictures via your BlackBerry email service to that address. Click the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the Picasa settings screen to accept your personalize email address. You can upload up to 20 megabytes per email message to your Picasa account. Pictures upload to the "Drop Box" album unless you specify which album you want them in by entering the album's name in the subject line of your outgoing email message. You can also add a caption to the subject line to accompany the picture.

The Picasa help forum is free to use and answers a variety of questions including backup your online pictures, print pictures and share pictures with other Picasa members.
