Invion's intuitive GPS units gives you the ability track your location and lead you to your destination with the help of voice guidance, points of interest and electronic maps. The user-friendly interface with a touch-screen key pad makes entering and altering information into your unit simple. Setup
1. Charge your device fully before the initial setup. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the power port on you Invion, then plug it into a power outlet.
2. Insert the SD card into the thin SD slot on the GPS unit. The card will fit into the slot one way only, so don't force the card into the slot--flip it and reinsert. The SD card stores maps, user settings and upgrades. Visit Invion's website to download map upgrades to your SD card to ensure the accuracy of your maps and route planning.
3. Keep the unit plugged until the red "charging light" goes off--signaling that your device is fully charged. Power on the unit. Read through the "user agreement" disclaimer and either accept of decline it.
Routing and Points of Interest
4. Click the "Routing" button in the main menu. Program a new route in by clicking the "Route" button and entering your destination's address or a point-of-interest. The device will locate your position and plan the most efficient route. The unit's voice guided directions will alert you if you veer off course or miss a turn and will reroute you to your destination.
5. Click the "Home" button to create a default home location. Key your home address into the field and save it.
6. Click the star icon labeled "Favorites" to to save your most visited or favorite location. Choose from the selection of buttons located at the bottom of the screen to add, delete or rename a favorite location.
7. Locate POIs, or points of interest, by clicking the "POI" button. Choose "At Address" to search for POIs near a specific address, choose "At Current Pos" to search for POIs near your current location.
8. Select "Along route" for POIs on your route and select "At Destination" to find POIs near your destination. Specify a category of POIs to search for, like restaurants or hotels and your Invion will plot their location and contact information on the map.
