Kodak Easyshare C340 Directions

The Kodak EasyShare C340 comes equipped with a 5 megapixel sensor and a 3X zoom, which makes it easy to produce high quality pictures. The EasyShare is compatible with several Kodak printing docks, which allow you to print high quality pictures and charge your camera. Dock compatibility includes the G600, G610, Printer Dock Plus Series 3, and the Printer Dock Series 3. Taking pictures and videos with the C340 requires little effort once you understand the setup and basic picture and video procedures.


Instructions


Camera Setup


1. Release the battery compartment door on the bottom right side of your Kodak EasyShare C340. Insert a CRV3 non-rechargeable, Ni-MH rechargeable or two AA batteries into the battery compartment and close the compartment door.


2. Turn the round "Mode" dial/"Power" button dial counterclockwise to turn on your camera. This dial is on the top right side of your camera.


3. Set the time and date by pressing the "Menu" button. The "Menu" button is the third button on the right side of the LCD screen. Use the four-way controller to highlight "Setup Menu," and press the "OK" button. Select "Date/Time" and use the four-way controller to enter the appropriate time and date. Set the language by choosing "Language" and using the controller to select the desired language.


Pictures


4. Power on your camera and turn the round "Mode" dial/"Power" button on the top right side to "Auto." Line up the person or item you are photographing in your LCD or viewfinder.


5. Press the shutter halfway down to focus.


6. Wait for the "Ready" light to turn green, and press the shutter button completely to take the picture. To view your pictures, press the "Review" button, which is the fourth button on the right side of the LCD screen. Press the "Review" button again to exit review.


Video


7. Power on your camera and turn the round "Mode" dial/"Power" button on the top right side to the camera icon. Line up the person or item you are videoing in your LCD or viewfinder.


8. Press the shutter button completely and release to begin recording.


9. Press the shutter button again and release to stop recording. To view your pictures, press the "Review" button, which is the fourth button next to the LCD screen. Press "OK" to play and pause the video. Press the "Review" button again to exit review.
