The HTC Imagio was one of the only phones to be released with Windows Mobile 6.5 installed. While the interface for Windows Mobile 6.5 (as well as HTC's proprietary TouchFlo interface) saw some pretty drastic changes, the essential functions were basically unchanged. If you're familiar with HTC Windows phones, transferring files to the device is easy. If you're not, it doesn't take long to learn.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Imagio phone. Use the stylus to tap the "Start" Button, then "Settings." Select "All settings" (the gear-shaped icon) on the scroll pad at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap "Connections," then "USB to PC." Tap the "Disk Drive" option. Tap "OK." Set your phone aside.
3. Turn on your computer and log in. Connect the phone to the computer using the MicroUSB cable. Make sure that your MicroSD card is inserted into the slot beneath the phone's battery cover.
4. Click the "Start" button, then "Computer" or "My Computer." Locate the MicroSD card in the window.
5. Start a new Explorer window and locate the files you wish to transfer. Click and drag the files into the MicroSD card folder. When you are finished, unplug the phone from the MicroUSB cable.
6. Pick up your phone and tap "Start," "Programs," then "File Explorer." Locate the files you transferred in the"/SDcard/" folder.
