The Slingbox is a home theater device that allows you to watch all of the television content from your cable or satellite provider over the Internet. In order to stream your television content over the Slingbox remotely, you must first install the SlingPlayer software. Setting up your Slingbox is simple and soon you will be able to watch television just about anywhere provided that you have an Internet connection.

Instructions

2. Click on the name of the country where the Slingbox will primarily be used underneath the "Where is your Slingbox located?" header. Click on the "Next" tab at the bottom of the screen.

3. Choose the "Coax" option under the "Connection to your Slingbox" header if your Slingbox is plugged directly into the coaxial cable wire.
