MyGig is a multimedia, touchscreen interface system found in later editions of select, Chrysler vehicles. With enhanced communication, navigation and entertainment amenities, MyGig offers everything from satellite radio and video playback capability, to GPS navigational assistance. MyGig can also be used as a built-in media player, because personal audio files can be downloaded directly to the MyGig interface. With the use of a USB flash drive, it only takes about five minutes to download any music of your choice from your computer to MyGig.
Instructions
1. Insert the USB flash drive into the computer.
2. Access the folder where the audio files are stored on the computer.
3. Go through the audio files on the computer. Press the "CTRL" key on the keyboard, and click the title of each song you want to download to MyGig.
4. Right-click one of the audio files you clicked on. Select the "Copy" option. This action creates a virtual duplicate of the audio files so they can be placed onto the USB flash drive.
5. Click the system menu orb on the computer screen task bar.
6. Double-click the "Computer" tab in the system menu list to access the system explorer. When the system explorer opens, right-click the USB flash drive's removable storage icon.
7. Select the "Paste" option in the right-click menu to transfer the virtual duplicates of each audio file to the USB flash drive.
8. Remove the USB flash drive from the computer.
9. Flip the USB cover up on the MyGig USB port inside the vehicle on the right side of the MyGig screen. Place the USB flash drive into the USB port.
10. Press the "My Music" touchscreen option when the "Manage My Files" menu appears on MyGig screen. Press "Import Music Files."
11. Press the onscreen option that reads "From USB" to download the music from the USB flash drive to the MyGig internal hard drive. The MyGig interface will then display all of the available audio files stored to the USB flash drive.
12. Check the box next to each song to download individual audio files from the USB flash drive or press "All" directly below the list music titles to make your selection. Press "Done" to download the music from the USB flash drive to MyGig.
