What Is A Pda Smartphone

A Personal Digital Assistant, or PDA, can be used as a Smartphone. PDAs are commonly referred to as palmtop computers. Internet capability come standard on the PDA Smartphone, as is a USB port to sync information from the PDA Smartphone from a personal PC. All major phone companies offer a version of the PDA Smartphone.


Internet Access


PDA Smartphones are Internet compatible and can be browsed anywhere as long as there is a clear signal.


Email


Email accounts can be synced to the PDA Smartphone device. Owners can check their email and respond to it if they are not near a personal computer.


Data Processing


Depending on the PDA Smartphone, data processing software comes standard or can be downloaded at a low price. Users can save the document as a file and use it later.


Touch Screen


All PDA Smartphones and stand-alone PDAs have touch screen capabilities. A stylus does not come standard with PDA Smartphones.


Normal Phone Usage


Despite all the features of a PDA Smartphone, users can use it simply to talk to other individuals.


QWERTY Keyboard


A QWERTY keyboard comes standard on a PDA Smartphone. The keyboard either comes up on the screen electronically or has one equipped on the phone.
