The Apex 27-inch television has the proper proportions for displaying a widescreen image from a TV broadcast or a DVD without either end of the image being cut off. Adjust the viewing format of the Apex so that the display will default to the widescreen mode. This requires making a few changes to the settings in the Apex's menu. The procedure is straightforward and can be accomplished within five minutes.
Instructions
1. Press the "On" button on the Apex's remote control. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control.
2. Select "Video" from the icons presented on the Apex's onscreen menu. Press the "Select" button on the remote control to go to a new screen.
3. Select "Aspect ratio" on the new screen. Press the "Select" button on the remote control.
4. Select "Widescreen" from the list of choices presented beneath "Aspect ratio." Press the "Select" button on the remote control.
5. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control to return to the Apex 27-inch TV's Home menu.
