Repair The Polaroid Izone 300

Make minor repairs to your Polaroid iZone 300 Camera

Polaroid cameras might have gone out of style when digital cameras first arose, but now they are back with the popular i-Zone models. These cameras create sticker-sized instant photos that users can share with friends instantly. When an i-Zone 300 camera is not working properly, there are usually only a couple of issues that could be causing problems. Try some quick fixes before contacting Polaroid for additional help.

Instructions

1. Check that the batteries are still good by looking for the ready light. If it does not glow within 20 seconds of turning the camera on, the batteries need to be replaced. Replace with two new alkaline AA batteries.

2. Verify that you are using the correct settings for the current conditions. A picture that is too dark may need a flash setting, and a picture that is too light is either shot from a position too close to the subject, or was shot with a flash when it was not needed.

3. Remove jammed film by gently tugging on the exposed tab. If the film will not advance, replace the film. Do not ever cut the film for your iZone camera except in the exact locations indicated on the film strip, because the film contains a caustic paste that can irritate the skin and eyes.

4. Pull the exposed film straight from the camera instead of at an angle. Pulling it at the wrong angle can cause blue or blurred streaks on the photos.
