Get To My Samsung Sim Card

Samsung mobile phones come equipped with a SIM card. SIM cards allow you to connect to your carrier's mobile network, save contacts and make calls internationally. There are multiple ways to get to the Samsung's SIM card. You can physically access the SIM card to insert and remove it, or you can get to the SIM card from the phone's menu system in order to copy SIM contacts to your phone memory.


Instructions


Physically Access SIM Card


1. Turn off your phone to ensure you do not harm any data on the Samsung.


2. Remove the battery cover off of the Samsung device by pressing down a release tab.


3. Slide off the cover of the device if it is in track, or lift it up and away from the phone.


4. Press the release notch or tab on the battery to loosen it from the casing.


5. Lift and remove the battery from the housing of the Samsung.


6. Slide the SIM card from the SIM card slot, or press in on the card to release the spring catch so you can remove it from the phone.


Access From Phone Menu


7. Select the "Menu" option when you are on the main screen of the device.


8. Scroll to and press the "Phonebook" selection and then the option for "Management."


9. Click on "View contacts" to open up memory selection options.


10. Scroll to and select "Phone and SIM card"; press the option for "SIM card."


11. Scroll through the list of contacts that are stored on the SIM card.
