Remove A Video From A Dvr

A DVR is a wonderful invention that allows you to pause, fast forward and rewind recorded television. You can even pause and rewind live television. With a DVR, you can record your favorite television programs (sometimes more than one at a time) and watch them at your leisure. A DVR is easier to program than a traditional VCR as you no longer have to search for individual programs to record. Removing videos from your DVR is also a simple process.

Instructions

1. Access your recorded videos using your DVR remote. The button should be labeled, but the verbiage will vary by brand. Common buttons are labeled as "DVR," "My Recording" and the "Tivo" icon.

2. Scroll through your recorded videos. Find which one you would like to delete.

3. Press the "Select" or "OK" button on your remote. Once again, the button name will vary by brand.

4. Confirm that you want to delete the video by pressing the "Select" or "OK" button a second time when prompted. After this is completed, you will not be able to retrieve the deleted program.
