Mount A Flat Panel Tv To A Bed

Many people like to watch TV in bed. They can even set the sleep timer and fall asleep while watching. The only problem is that a TV can take up a lot of space in your room and it throws off the balance. However, you can mount a flat panel TV to a bed and save space.

Instructions

1. Raise your bed off the floor. You need at least 8 inches of clearance minimum to mount the flat panel TV to the bed. You can adjust your bed frame or use raisers.

2. Buy the underbed lift that is used to mount the flat panel TV to the bed. You can purchase this at mk1studio.com. They are available for Plasma or LCD TVs.

3. Purchase the upgraded underbed lift if you don't want to wire the TV. It comes pre-wired for the audio, video, high voltage and automation. It costs extra but will save you a couple hours of installation time.

4. Mount the underbed lift. It is highly recommended to have someone help you mount it as it weighs 600 pounds. Your bed should be temporarily relocated while you install the mount.

5. Install the flat panel TV to the underbed lift. Connect the wires if you didn't buy the pre-wired lift. Replace the bed.
