Make A Wav File From A Cd

You have your favorite CD and want to rip the files into the WAV format. However, most CD ripping software doesn’t support ripping into the WAV format. With some free software, you can convert your CD files to the WAV format; here's how.

Instructions

1. Download and install a free MP3 WMA Converter (see Resources below).

2. Insert a CD into your CD drive.

3. Open your favorite CD ripping software. If you don’t have any software, the free MP3 WMA Converter comes with CD ripping software. Rip your CD tracks to a chosen folder.

4. Open the MP3 WMA Converter and browse to your files. The "Browse" button is the folder with a green arrow in the upper right corner of the screen.

5. Select the files you wish to convert and click "Open."

6. Choose "WAV" from the "Output Format" drop down box. If you leave the "Save in File's Directory" box checked, the converted files will be saved in the same folder as the original file.

7. Click "Convert" and wait for your files to be converted.
