Kodak makes a number of types of digital picture frames, including some that are wireless and others that have e-mail capabilities. They are sold all over the world, so consequently they need to be operated in many languages. When you first power up the frame straight out of the box, the device will ask you what language you'd like to use. The frame will remember this setting and will always use it; however, you can change the language at a later date if you like.
Instructions
1. Press the "Menu" button. If you are looking at the frame in landscape (long side down), it is the fourth button down from the top right corner of the frame.
2. Choose the "Home" option. It's represented by an icon that looks like a little house. You can also go directly to the "Home" option using the remote. Again, look for the house icon.
3. Press the left or right arrow buttons on the remote to highlight "Settings," and then press "OK."
4. Scroll through the menu with the up and down arrow buttons until you get to "Language." You'll scroll past items like clock and timer, brightness and network.
5. Use the up and down arrow buttons to highlight the language you'd like and press "OK."
6. Press the back button to return to the home screen. It is marked "Back" in English on the remote control but doesn't have an icon.
