Fix A Fuji Xd Card

Fuji digital cameras store photos on XD cards. If your Fuji camera says that the card is corrupt, you will need to fix it. The best way to do so is to format it. This will erase any problems on the XD card. To do this on a computer, you must have a computer equipped with either an XD card slot or an external XD card reader.

Instructions

1. Connect the XD card into the computer's XD slot. If you are using an external card reader, plug the reader's USB cable into the computer, then connect the XD card into the reader.

2. Click the Windows logo in the bottom, left corner to open the "Start" menu. Click "Control Panel" on the subsequent menu.

3. Click the "System and Security" selection. In the new menu, click "Administrative Tools." Double-click "Computer Management" to open it.

4. Click "Disk Management" to open that option. Right-click the XD card and pick the "Format" option.

5. Press "OK" to format the XD card. This will format the XD card back to its original specifications, which will work in a Fuji camera.
