Use A Motorola Pager

Created more than a decade ago, Motorola paging devices pushed the envelope for enhanced communication sources. This device enables you to contact a person with a numerical notification, which prompts him to return your request. This user-friendly communication link is very easy to operate.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Read" button to power the paging device on. The button will be black with a green LED striped light. When the device has powered on, your Standby screen will display the date, time, and Motorola icon.

2. Send numerical messages to other paging devices. Use your Motorola pager's keypad to enter the number of the paging device you would like to contact, and press and release the "Page" key. Then press the "Read" button to send your numeric page. Your paging device will now give a vibrating confirmation that your numeric page has been sent.

3. Retrieve recent numeric messages that have been sent to you. This requires pressing the "Read" button, which will enable you to display and view the total number of messages you have received. Continue pressing the "Read" button to scroll further down the list. The "End" notification will appear once you have reached the bottom of the list.

4. Delete past numeric messages that you have recieved. Quickly press and release your pager's "Menu" button twice in order for the "Go Folder" indication to appear. Then press and hold the "Read" button until all messages have been deleted. A indication that reads, "DEL ALL MSGS," will notify that all previous, numeric messages have been erased.

5. Power off your Motorola paging device. Activate your paging device's "Standby Screen", and rapidly press the "Menu" button twice. Press and hold the "Read" button until the "Power Off" notification appears. Your paging device's screen will then shut off.
