Use Video Camcorders In The Class Room

Using video camcorders in the class room adds a fun and useful new dimension to learning for students. Successfully using video camcorders and achieving good video results require a little preparation and planning.

Instructions

Use Video Camcorders in the Classroom

1. Get clearance from the school. Make sure whichever subject matter being video recorded is legal and for the purpose of aiding education taking place in the classroom.

2. Set up the tripod, especially when you don't have a live cameraman to tend the camcorder. Usually the camcorder stand is placed in the back of the classroom to video capture the teacher teaching at the front of the classroom.

3. Set up the "background" (front of classroom) of video recording. Make sure your blackboard, whiteboard, or projector screen is ready with your lesson plans.

4. Start recording. Ask a student to help tend the camcorder when you need it to be become mobile but need to be in the shot yourself.
