Connect To Jvc Everio

It is possible to upload audio/video content from a JVC Everior camera directly to almost any computer system.

The JVC Everio is a high definition video camera that records its audio and video content onto a built in hard drive. This allows you to save each video as an individual file and upload the contents onto a computer, without the aid of a video editor. Additionally, the JVC Everior is capable of connecting to a television set, giving you a series of options for hooking up to a computer

Instructions

1. Check your computer for a FireWire port. This connection looks similar to a USB data port, only one end is curved and there is a "Y" shaped icon next to it. This provides a faster data transfer rate over USB. Plug the FireWire cable into the FireWire port on the video camera, then insert the other end of the cable into the FireWire port on the computer system.

2. Attach the USB data cable into the USB port on the JVC Everio video camera, then plug the other end of the cable into a USB port on the computer. This is helpful if you do not have a FireWire connection port on the computer system.

3. Plug the 3.5mm end of the 3.5mm to RCA audio/video cable into the "Video Out" port on the JVC Everio, then connect the red, white and yellow RCA ends of the cable into the "Video In" connection on a television.

4. Insert the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the JVC Everio, then plug the other end of the cable into any HDMI connection port on a high definition television. This sends the high definition signal to any HDTV.
