Work An Rca Digital Voice Recorder Rp 5020a

Listen to your recording with a pair of headphones.


The RCA RP 5020A is a digital voice recorder often used by reporters to capture spoken interviews. This is far easier than handwriting an interview and much more reliable. The device only has a few buttons on the front display, so learning use the digital recorder isn't incredibly time consuming. After you have recorded the audio with the device you can play it back at any time, giving you a permanent record of the interview.


Instructions


1. Press the "Power" button on the RCA voice recorder. Push "Record" to begin recording. Push "Stop" to stop the recording. The audio file of the recording takes the name of the current date and time.


2. Push "Menu" to bring up all the current recordings. Select "Up" or "Down" to scroll through the recordings. Stop on a recording and press "Play" to start it. You can fast forward or rewind the recording with the "FF" and "RW" buttons on the side of the device.


3. Adjust the volume with the "+" and "-" buttons on the front of the RP 5020A. This is used during playback. Insert a pair of headphones into the headphone port at the top of the digital voice recorder if you want to listen to audio without playing it through the built-in speaker. The quality is better that way.


4. Select a recording and press "Erase" to delete the recording from the RP 5020A's memory when you no longer need it.
