The i800 is a Nextel-supported, Motorola-manufactured cellular phone. Nextel appears on the outer screen of the i880 because this phone works on the Nextel network. To change the Nextel logo on the outer screen of the i880 phone, you can change the phone's wallpaper.
Instructions
Manually Change i880 Wallpaper
1. Flip open the Motorola i880. Press the "Power" button located just below the "Star" key to turn on the phone.
2. Press the "Menu" key, located immediately to the left of the "left arrow" key, to display the phone's main menu. Use the phone's arrow and soft keys to highlight and select "Settings" from the menu. (The soft keys are the keys located on both sides of the up arrow key. Each key is labeled with a hexagon icon.) Select "Display/Info," then "Wallpaper" and then "Buy Wallpapers." Purchase the wallpaper you'd like to appear on the outer screen of the i880.
3. Open the phone's main menu. Select "Settings." Select "Display/Info." Select "Wallpaper." Select "External" to indicate that you would like to display a new wallpaper on the phone's outer screen display.
4. Highlight and select the wallpaper you would like to appear on the phone's outer screen.
Set Wallpaper Displayed on the Outer Screen of the i880 to Change Automatically External" to indicate that you would like to display several new wallpapers on the phone's outer screen display, to be updated automatically.
8. Select how often you would like the wallpaper update to take place. Choose "Select Pictures."
9. Choose the wallpaper pictures you want to appear in rotation on the phone's outer screen.
