Store photos on a CD against the possibility of damage to your computer.
Storing photos to a CD is an easy way to back up important pictures, in case something happens to your computer or to the files themselves. Most computers come with the hardware and software necessary to burn CDs. The process is slightly different on Apple computers and PCs. Two types of writable CDs exist with a major variation. CD-R CDs can be burned only once, while CD-RW CDs can be written over multiple times.
