Instructions
1. Turn the GPS unit on and touch the screen to go to the menu.
2. Touch the "Navigate To" button.
3. Touch the "Address" button. You can also find your destination by programming in favorites, choosing "Recent Destination" or doing a "Local Search."
4. Choose "Street and House Number." You can also search by postal code and intersection.
5. Make sure your GPS unit is set to the right state. Tap the flag if you want to change the state or country.
6. Type in the first few letters of the destination city's name on the keyboard that comes up on the screen. The TomTom will automatically make recommendations for you as you continue to type the name. Select the appropriate destination city when you are done.
7. Enter the street name. Again, the GPS unit will automatically make recommendations as you type. Select the street you intend to visit.
8. Type the house number of the address and click done. The GPS unit will prepare the route by analyzing thousands of possible routes and prepare a summary of the route. Touch the "Done" button, and you are ready to go.
