Make A Music Picture Disc

Sharing photos with family and friends can be a fun and exciting thing to do. You get the chance o give them a glimpse of your daily activities and images of everyone you encounter. Uploading photos to a website or emailing them are some of the easiest ways to share photos. However, creating a photo movie with music can enhance your photos even further. With a few simple tips, you'll be able to learn make a music picture disc.


Instructions


1. Import the pictures you want to work with into Windows Movie Maker. In order to do this, you'll need to click the "Start" button on your computer. After doing this, select the "All Programs" link, and then click Windows Movie Maker. For some operating systems, you may have to locate the Windows Movie Maker program via the "Accessories" area.


2. Click "Import Pictures" on the "Movie Task" pane. You'll be able to quickly select each picture you'd like to be a part of the disc. Usually, you can find these pictures in your "My Pictures" folder. If you have your pictures located in other folders on your computer system, then you'll also need to access those areas as well.


3. Click "Import Audio or Music" to have music accompany your pictures on the disc. In order to locate some tunes for the disc, access the "My Music" folder on your computer system. Select the audio file by clicking onto it. Your chosen picture and music files will be displayed on the "Contents" pane. This area will also allow you to delete unwanted files before you finalize your music picture disc.


4. Place your pictures in the "Storyboard" area of Windows Movie Maker. It can be easily found at the very bottom of the program. Just select, hold, and drag the pictures into this location. Arrange them in the order you would like the pictures to be viewed. To rearrange the pictures, click them and drag to your desired location.


5. Add multiple transitions that will make your music picture disc more appealing. Click and drag each transition to the locations of your choice. You can also include movie titles and credits by clicking the "Make Titles or Credits" link. After you have finished, then select the "Done" link.


6. Drag your music file located on the "Contents" pane to the timeline area. In order to have your music play at the right position, make sure that it was placed at the very left of the timeline. Adjust the music file so that it aligns with your very last picture.


7. Save your finished music picture disc. This can be done by accessing the "Finish Movie" area in the "Movie Tasks" pane. Once you are satisfied with the finished product, create a brand new name for the file. Usually, these files are saved into the "My Videos" folder. Choose the best quality for playback by accessing the "Movie Settings" page. Select an appropriate playback for a picture disc and burn them to a variety of available discs.
