Set Up A Motorola I730 For Bluetooth

Though the Motorola i730 was manufactured before Bluetooth technology became a standard cell phone feature, you don't have to get a new phone to enjoy it. With the help of a Bluetooth adpater, you can set up Bluetooth on you i730 and enjoy making phone calls with your headset up to 30 feet away from your phone.

Instructions

1. Fully charge your i730, Bluetooth headset and bluetooth adapter before continuing.

2. Insert your Bluetooth adapter's audio plug into the headset port on the left side of your Motorola i730.

3. Power on your i730. Open your phone's menu and select "Settings." Choose the "Advanced" option and select "Headset/Spkr" from the Advanced menu.

4. Choose the "Hdset Only" option to route all audio through your Bluetooth headset while the Bluetooth adapter is plugged into your phone.

5. Set your Bluetooth headset and adapter near one another. Use the pin supplied with your Bluetooth adapter to press and hold the internal "sync" button located at the back of the small hole, on the side of the adapter. Hold the button until the adapter's LED light begins to flash.

6. Press and hold the function button on the side of your Bluetooth headset until it starts to flash as well. Give the two devices a minute to sync. After a series of flashes from both devices, your i730 will have Bluetooth capability.
