Frostwire is a BitTorrent application that can run on computers as well as Android devices. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer sharing protocol where files are broken up into small pieces -- bits -- that can be shared rapidly between many users. The Android application allows for peer-to-peer sharing of mobile files, like public domain eBooks, that you could read on your Samsung Epic 4G phone. To "flash" an application is another way of saying: to install an application.
Instructions
1. Open your phone, and tap on the application launcher icon at the bottom, middle of the home screen. Scroll to find the "Market" app and tap it.
2. Press the magnifying glass icon in the Market, type "FrostWire," then press "Enter." Tap on the "FrostWire" listing. Note that it will be manufactured by "FrostWire.com."
3. Tap the "Free" button under the heading: Install. Touch "OK" to accept the permissions for the application. Wait while the app downloads to your Epic. Press "Install," then when the installation is complete you can press "Open" or "Done."
