Use A Digital Light Meter

Whether you are a professional photographer or just like to take good pictures, proper lighting is an essential component for success. Changing light at a location, or altering light for different effects can be difficult if you do not accurately measure the light intensity on your subject. Using a digital light meter takes the guess work out of camera settings to capture that perfect shot.

Instructions

1. Compose your photograph by looking through the eye piece on the camera and focusing on the object you want to capture. Determine whether you are using available light, a flash or studio lighting. Set the digital meter to ambient if you are not using a flash or studio lights, and digital if you are. This setting is necessary for accurate incident and reflected light range measurements.

2. Set the ISO (film speed) according to the type and amount of light you will be using on the digital meter. Low settings (100, 200) are common for flash and studio lighting, while higher settings (400, 800 and up) are generally used for outdoor and stop-action photography.

3. Using the meter, measure the distance between the camera and the object you want to photograph. With some older meters, you need to place the meter at the object for an accurate reading. Newer digital meters allow you to measure by looking through a viewfinder to pinpoint the center of your composition. Other meters allow you to view and focus on one point through a viewfinder to assist in creating or altering the depth-of-field or light intensity for visual effects.

4. The LED screen on the digital meter will display the proper camera shutter speed and aperture settings for your photograph based on your lighting and desired effects.

Use Studio Foam

If you record music, sound effects, voice-overs or other audio from a home studio, then chances are you've had a hard time finding a room to record in that doesn't have a terrible echo. By utilizing studio foam intelligently, you can eliminate the echo without eliminating your money, and enhance the quality of your recordings at the same time. You won't have to take up an entire room for your studio; studio foam lets you make a sound booth in any corner.

Instructions

1. Lay the plywood sheet down on a work surface, and then lay the studio foam sheet(s) on top of the plywood. Line up the edges as best you can, and use the utility knife to trim away any excess foam.

2. Attach the adhesive strips to several spots on the plywood board, spaced evenly. Use firm pressure and attach them firmly before removing the cover of the adhesive side facing you.

3. Lay the foam down carefully against the plywood, making sure the edges line up right away. Once alignment is achieved, press down firmly and evenly to attach the foam to the board. This should leave you with a great piece of soundproofing material just begging to be used in your studio.

4. Select two spots on the upper corners of the board and drill through from the wooden side, not the foam side. Do this carefully to avoid shredding more foam than you have to.

5. Pick a spot in your studio where you'd like your new soundproofing to hang, and hold the board against that wall. Makes sure the board is level, and then slide the pencil through the drilled holes and make a mark on the wall for each drilled hole.

You want to cover the wall directly behind your microphone, in the direction your voice will be speaking. If possible, nestle the microphone into a corner, and cover both walls in foam. Typical reflection zones for walls are about 2 feet square, so be sure to cover at least that much with each panel. Remember, the more you cover, the more echo you can eliminate.

6. Hammer in a nail for each pencil mark you made, and then hang the board up. If you do this correctly, the nails should barely be visible (if at all), due to the density of the foam.

Use Slide Film

Slides in plastic mounts

There are many photographers who inisist that slide film makes better pictures than 35mm negative film. There are also many magazines or newspapers that still prefer to have slides sent to them rather than digital photos. You may also have to take slides for a presentation, for photo jourmalism or for a class in art photography. Whatever your reason, it is good to be familiar with slide film.

Instructions

1. Find camera shop or online supplier for professional photographers, like Ace Camera in England or Ritz Camera in America.

2. Buy the best film you can afford at the highest ISO you can get if you want to capture moving objects, shoot at night or even on a cloudy day. You can get more grainy-looking images with lower-ISO film. A good film is Agfa Agfachrome RXS II 100 Professional. Fuji makes excellent slide film, too.

3. Load film into your SLR camera in the exact same way you would load 35mm negative film, although it's best to load it in a darker area than you would for print film, as slide film is more sensitive to light.

4. Adjust your light meter to the ISO of your film. do this differs from camera to camera, so you should consult your operation manual if you are unsure of do this. If your camera doesn't allow you to adjust the light meter, then skip Steps 4 and 5.

5. Use the middle gray color patch on an 18% gray card or point your camera at a patch of gray and adjust your light meter to the gray. If you can, do it by half f-stop or full f-stop. Light display differ from camera to camera. New, out-of-the-box SLR camera light meters are already set to gray.

6. Use the film up as soon as possible after purchase. Slide film degrades a lot faster than negative film.

7. Send film to a developer or take it to a professional camera shop for development. Have the developer get the slides mounted. If you do not need to make prints, you can stop here. If you need to make prints, continue on to Steps 7 and 8.

8. Use a projector or light box or put the slides up to the light to see which ones are the best.

9. Take the slides you've chosen back to the developer and get prints made of them.

Make A Shoebox Pinhole Camera

Photography is not only a fun hobby, but it is also an amazing science experiment. You can make your own camera easily. It takes only a few materials and a little know-make a shoebox pinhole camera. And, it's amazing the kind of pictures you will get with your projects.

Instructions

1. Paint the entire box and the lid with flat black spray paint. Make sure the inside and outside of the box are completely covered.

2. Put a hole in the bottom of the box. The hole should be 1/75 inch in diameter. The best way to get this done is to use a No. 10 sewing needle. As you push it through the box, turn it slightly in order to get a smoother hole.

3. Check the pinhole you just made to ensure it's round and not jagged or square. Look through the hole at a newspaper or book page. If it's not round, start over with a new box.

4. Create a shutter by cutting a square of black construction paper two inches by two inches. Tape the construction paper to the outside of the box, directly covering the pinhole.

5. Make a viewfinder. Create a small hole, just barely big enough for your eye to see through, on the opposite side of the box. The hole should be approximately two inches above where the pinhole is on the corresponding side.

6. Load your camera with film. Cut the film frame by frame and tape it to the inside of the box lid, directly across from the pinhole. The emulsion side (the inside of the film) should be toward the pinhole as you tape it in place.

Surveillance Camera System Work

A surveillance system digitally records images through satellite receivers.

A surveillance system may be a wise investment for your personal property or business. The complexity of the surveillance system is daunting; however, many surveillance systems work on any property.

Video

Video surveillance is the central aspect of any surveillance system. Cameras are placed in strategic areas of a business or property to capture intruders on video.

Types of Video

Cameras utilize digital video to receive clear images. Most surveillance systems operate at night or when the business is closed. Many cameras contain lens that can see through a spectrum of light, such as infrared. Most security cameras are constructed to view properties in the dead of night.

Closed Circuit Television

Property owners can view what is happening on their property thanks to closed circuit television. Closed circuit television transmits video transmissions to a television. A business owner or a security firm can see the video around a business from the safety of a different location. Closed circuit television also works for private property owners. A private property owner may watch her property's surroundings from a safe location, such as a panic room or a different part of her house.

Wireless Options

Many cameras may come with a wireless option, which reduces their bulk and installation hassle. The wireless cameras will transmit the same quality camera footage to a broadcast television for a property owners or security firms television.

Use A Light Box

A light box provides even lighting with little shadow.

Photographs shot in a light box provide professional-looking images with clear, white backgrounds and little or no shadows. Such photographs are perfect for artistic shots or for highlighting products you want to sell on eBay or your own website. The pure white background blends in easily with white backgrounds on websites or printed pages. The light box has an all-white interior and surrounds the object you are taking a picture of with openings for your camera lens and the light source(s). You can buy light boxes or make your own.

Instructions

1. Position the object you want to photograph in the center of the "floor" of the light box.

2. Position your light source(s) so that your subject is evenly lit with no shadows. Your light box should have either holes for your light source or walls that are thin enough to allow diffused light to come through. The all-white interior of the light box will reflect light, illuminating your subject from every angle, casting no shadows except directly beneath the subject. Even these shadows will have soft edges.

3. Shoot your pictures. Try moving the object to shoot it from different angles. Also try changing the angle of the light source(s) for different effects. Transparent objects, such as glasses, have more depth when they are lit only from the back. Shoot lots of pictures to see what works best. If you are using a digital camera you can delete any shots you don't like.

4. Import your photos into your computer and crop as close as possible--unless you intend to add text over part of the background. You also might need to brighten the picture to make the background pure white if your picture will have to blend in with a white page either on the Internet or in print.

Requirements For Cable Tv

Cable television is an operating system that transmits video services to subscribers by way of their cable operators via coaxial or optical fiber cables. Created in the late 1940s, cable television allowed communities out of distance of television stations to receive reception. By locating antennas with good reception and picking up broadcast station signals, cable operators are able to charge a fee. Today, cable television has expanded beyond the United States, operating in countries such as Switzerland and Italy.

Satellite is Not Cable

By Federal Communications Committee (FCC) guidelines, cable television, which was once referred to as Community Antenna Television (CATV), is defined as programming delivered by hard wire. According to PC Magazine, cable television is "the transmission of TV programs into the home or office via coaxial cable." Therefore, any digital broadcasting that's delivered via satellite is not considered cable television.

Broadcast Providers

Cable suppliers in the United States include Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Charter Communications, Mediacom Communications and Cox Communications. Cable is usually easier to install but has fewer channels that satellite. Satellite providers include DirecTV, DISH Network, Voom and GlobeCast WorldTV. Although satellite television usually has superior broadcast quality, it is more prone to reception interference caused by hazardous weather conditions.

Subscription Options

Cable services are usually available in three assortments or tiers, as they're commonly called. Starting with basic service, this package includes all over-the-air television broadcast signals as well as the must-carry requirements of the Communications Act. Cable programming allows subscribers to add on programming not included with basic service. Per-channel programming allows subscribers to pay-per-view, as it's commonly referred to. Media specialist SNL Kagan states that in 2007, the average cost of expanded basic cable service was $42.76. Some cable providers charge a separate hardware fee.

Beyond Television

Cable providers often possess an immense channel capacity, allowing them to provide programming that goes beyond typical television broadcast. According to the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), beginning in 1996, more than $130 billion has been dedicated to expanding cables services, which has resulted in digital and high definition television as well as interactive services. Subscribers have an assortment to choose from, ranging from business information and weather forecasts to children's programming and special entertainment. The addition of the Internet and telephone services to cable subscriptions is commonly known as a "triple play."

Basic Requirements

In compliance with FCC regulations, the registration of a cable system requires that you first provide your legal name along with entity identification or a social security number, as well as declaring your individual, private association or partnership status. A mailing address must also be provided, as well as a phone number. You then must supply the name of your community or neighborhood, as well as the country it is located. Finally, an official representative of the cable company must authorize all registration statements.

Sew A School Bag With Shoulder Straps

Sew a homemade tote bag for your kids.

School bags can be expensive to buy for your kids every single year. Many of the bags that you can buy do not hold up or last the entire school year. Sew a one-of-a-kind school bag for each of your children. Let the kids help you by choosing their own fabrics. Make the bags easy for the kids to carry by adding shoulder straps that fit across the body. This helps to relieve some of the stress on the shoulders when carrying heavy books.

Instructions

1. Cut six pieces of fabric measuring 14 inches wide and 12 inches long. Cut two strips of fabric that measure 38 inches long by 4 inches wide.

2. Measure your child starting at the waist, going diagonally across the back, over the shoulder and then down across the front of the chest to the waist again. Cut two more strips of fabric to this length and 4 inches wide for the shoulder strap.

3. Lay out the fabric on your work surface and place the bowl at the corner. Draw around the edge of the bowl at the corner. Cut along the drawn line to make a rounded edge.

4. Pin one of the 38-inch strips to one of the 14-by-12-inch rectangles along both sides and the bottom of the bag. Add another rectangle in the same manner to form the outer portion of the bag.

5. Repeat Step 4 using two other rectangles and the other 38-inch strip to form the lining of the bag. Set these two sections aside.

6. Sew the two remaining rectangles with right sides together along the sides and the bottom to form the bag's flap. Turn it right side out.

7. Pin the top edge of the flap to the outer bag portion with right sides together and matching up the raw edges. Sew to hold the fabric in place.

8. Take the shoulder strap strips and layer them with the wrong sides together. Turn under the raw edges along the sides and use the pins to hold the straps in place. Stitch down the sides, removing the pins as you sew.

9. Turn the lining of the bag wrong side out and place it inside the outer bag. Place the straps in the middle of the sides of the bag. Turn in the raw edges of the outer bag and the lining and pin in place.

10. Sew around the top edge of the bag, forming a top hem and securing the shoulder straps in place at the same time.

Troubleshooting A Sony Big Screen Tv

Use your remote control to reprogram your TV.

Sony makes a variety of big-screen TVs. The features on your Sony TV will depend on the model; however, many models have a twin view function, a memory stick slot for watching content and a remote control for easy programming. There are a few simple tips you can follow to troubleshoot your Sony TV should you have problems with any of its functions.

Instructions

No Picture or Sound

1. Ensure that the Sony TV is plugged in. Check your house's fuse box for any blown fuses and replace them. Reset any tripped circuit breakers.

2. Make sure the red LED light on the front panel of the Sony big screen TV is not flashing. Press "Pic Off" if the LED light is flashing to turn the light off.

3. Press the "Power" button on the front of the TV.

4. Press "TV/Video" to review which components are connected, and make sure that the component from which you want to watch content is plugged in and turned on.

5. Try setting your Sony big screen TV to a different channel, as the first channel may be experiencing signal interference.

Twin View Does Not Work

6. Ensure that you are not trying to watch two different channels through a cable box, as the cable box can only process one signal at a time.

7. Ensure that the twin view window is set to a video input setting or channel with a current signal.

8. Any video sources set to cable, video 4, 5 or 6 and any digital sources will only display in the left window of the twin view setting. Use the right window to view any sources not set to these inputs.

9. Change the channel in either window to prevent seeing the same video content in both windows.

Remote Control Won't Work

10. Ensure that the Sony TV is securely plugged in and that no household fuses are blown or circuit breakers are tripped. Replace the fuses and reset the circuit breakers if needed.

11. Move the Sony TV at least four feet away from any fluorescent lighting source to ensure that the remote control will work.

12. Open the battery compartment on the remote control by pressing down and sliding off its cover. Replace the batteries with new ones that are correctly oriented in the battery compartment, according to the cover or compartment diagram. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back on the remote control and click it into place.

13. Press "TV/Function" to ensure that the remote can control the TV. The remote control will not change channels when it is set to "Sat/Cable Function."

No Memory Stick Image Display

14. Check that the files you want to view are on the memory stick by viewing them on your computer.

15. Ensure that the memory stick is properly seated in its slot on your TV. Push the memory stick fully into the slot until the slot mechanism accepts it.

16. Prevent a "memory stick type error" display by ensuring that you are using the correct stick for your Sony TV. Check the owner's manual to determine which type of memory stick the TV will display.

17.Use of a memory stick during twin view, freeze or favorite channels functions is not supported by your Sony TV, and no image from the memory stick will display when the TV is set to any of these functions.

What Not To Do With A Pressure Cooker

Pressure cookers can make stews and soups quickly, but there are safety considerations.

Pressure cookers can be valuable tools for the home chef. Because it cooks with pressurized steam, it has the ability to cook food at speeds much faster than traditional cooking appliances. For example, stews, soups, rice and bean dishes can be made in minutes instead of hours. However, there are some limits to its use. Though this is typically not the case with modern machines, there are also some dangers associated with pressure cookers if they are not used properly.

Remove the Lid

Never remove the lid of your pressure cooker before the pressure levels return to zero. One of the biggest dangers involved with pressure cookers in the past has been removing the lid too soon. This would result in a geyser of hot foods and liquids which is not only messy, but potentially dangerous. On contemporary cookers, removing the lid too soon is virtually impossible. This is one of several safety features on modern pressure cookers that take the danger out of pressure cooking.

Overcook

Overcooking foods in the pressure cooker is also a concern. On vintage machines, leaving the cooker unattended could also yield a messy explosion of hot food messes. Overcooking your food in the pressure cooker can also lead to dehydrating the food while in the pot, causing the pot to produce smoke or burn. Aside from causing unpleasant odors and a ruined meal, this could even result in a fire.

Overfill

Another hazard when using a pressure cooker would be overfilling the pot. Fill no more than two-thirds full to avoid and food blocking the venting mechanism during cooking. Overfilling the pot can also cause the contents to not cook evenly and cause added clean up.

Use Malfunctioning Equipment

Perhaps the most important thing to avoid is using an unsafe pressure cooker. If your pressure cooker is malfunctioning in anyway, there is the risk of potentially dangerous pressure build up. If you have a vintage machine, it best to discard or keep as decoration only and switch to a newer machine that features up to four safety functions that prevent the hazards that have plagued pressure cooker users in the past.

Fix A Blurry Screen In A Zenith Pvr4663rk Rear Projection Tv

Picture problems can manifest themselves many different ways on modern TVs. You may see pixelization or static on the screen, you may hear audio distortion, channels may flash intermittently or not show at all or you may see blurriness, striations, or banding across the TV screen. Complicating matters further is the face that there can be many causes of these symptoms, which can make troubleshooting and resolving them more difficult. With some basic know-how and a small time investment, however, you can diagnose and resolve a blurry picture on your own, without need to consult any outside help.

Instructions

1. Reset the device you are trying to watch by unplugging its power cord for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. If you see the blurry picture on the cable box, for example, unplug the cable box's power cord and allow it to reboot after plugging the power cord back in. Check the picture for any improvements.

2. Check the audio/video connection cables that attach the device you are trying to watch to the Zenith's audio/video input ports. Also examine the audio/video cables that attach the cable box to the TV and see if any have come loose. Replug any cables that may have come loose and replace any badly damaged cables. If you think the cables may be malfunctioning, you can test the issue by temporarily plugging in another set of audio/video cables and checking for any improvement.

3. Scan through all your cable channels and all of the Zenith's input channels to determine the scope of the issue. If the blurry screen is only seen on cable channels, your digital cable box or your provider may be source of the problem and you will need to report the issue to them. If all the input channels show the same blurriness, the Zenith will likely need to be serviced for a failure of its picture components.

Avoid The Evil Eye

The "evil eye" is an ancient concept that exists in nearly every culture throughout the world. The evil eye can take the form of a brief glance or a stare, and it can cause great misfortune to the recipient. Jewish sages say the evil eye can also deaden the soul of the one who gives it. Since the evil eye can be given unintentionally, it is important to be aware of its potential.

Instructions

1. Behave modestly. It is known that those who flaunt their luxuries, beauty, children, property and talents are vulnerable to the evil eye. You should be modest in your dress, thought and speech to prevent jealousy.

2. Wear an amulet. The most popular Jewish amulet is a red wool string worn around the left wrist. This is not an ordinary red string, but is taken from the tomb of Rachel in Israel. If you buy such a string, make sure it is the real item and not a fake.

3. Be scrupulous in learning Torah and observing commandments. The evil eye can only work by bringing a judgment down from Heaven. If you are careful to observe Torah laws, you are less likely to suffer from a harsh judgment.

4. Judge others favorably. Those who are well-disposed towards others are less likely to suffer from jealousy. As Rabbi Shammai says, greet everyone with a cheerful face. Others will be happy for you if you have good fortune rather than being jealous of you.

5. Remove yourself from the situation. If you feel someone is staring at you or is giving you the evil eye, trust your instinct and move away immediately. Do everything you can to prevent people from staring at you without being abrupt or rude.

6. Check your mezuzahs. A mezuzah, or special parchment with Bible verses written on it, should be on the left side of every door in your house, except for the bathroom. They should be checked every year by a professional scribe and can protect you from the evil eye.

7. Believe in Divine Providence. It is important to remember that the evil eye can only work with God's permission, and it is more important to believe in Divine Providence than to believe in the evil eye.

Troubleshooting A Cell Phone Battery That Will Not Charge

A cell phone battery that will not charge could be caused by a number of things.

If your cellular phone battery isn't charging, it could be caused by a number of things. In some cases, a battery could be old. In other cases, the jack where the charger plugs in to the phone could be defective. In other cases, the internal charging circuitry in the phone may have failed.

Switching Phones

Try charging the battery using another phone that uses the same type of battery. If the battery charges and works normally after being charged in another phone, it is very likely that the problem isn't with the battery. The problem is likely with the charging circuitry or jack where the charger plugs in to the first phone. If the phone is under warranty, report the problem to your cellular provider. If the phone isn't under warranty, it might be worth talking with a cell phone repair service about the cost of replacing the jack or charging control circuitry.

If the battery doesn't charge in the second phone, it may be a defective battery. Try a new battery and see if the problem is solved.

New Battery

In some cases, a cell phone battery may fail after a year or two. A battery is only designed for a certain number of charge and discharge cycles. If the battery in your phone will not charge, try buying a new battery. If the new battery works, the problem was a worn-out battery. However, if the new battery still won't charge, the problem is likely the charging jack or charging circuitry in the room.

Testing a Cell Phone Battery

To test a cell phone battery, remove the battery and look at the label to establish what the battery voltage should be. Most are 3.4 to 4.5 VDC. Check the voltage by placing the red lead of a voltmeter on the positive (+) contact and the negative lead on the negative (-) contact. If the voltage is OK, you may want to check the amperage. To do this, you will need to know how many miliamps the battery is supposed to output. A web search should turn up this information. If you are seeing a rapid drop in amperage, this indicates a quick discharge of the battery and likely means that the battery is worn out.

Put A Battery In A Motorola Krzr

The Motorola KRZR manual may be less than helpful for inserting a battery. The manual instructions are in pictures only, not words, and the arrows to release the cover latch point in different directions in different parts of the manual.

For starters, just to get your bearings, note that the 'M' on the back of the battery cover helps tell which end of the phone is up and which is down.

Instructions

1. Press the battery door release latch in, not toward or away from the 'M' on the back of the battery door. This may not be clear, since the latch design is much different from other phones. You will have to push this button in quite far, so your finger may be too big to push it in far enough. You may need to use your fingernail or a pen.

2. Slide the battery door up (toward the release latch). It will move only about an eighth of an inch. Then pry the battery door out (away from the phone).

3. Find the small lip that overhangs part of the battery chamber. The lip placement varies from model to model. (For the K1M, it is at the bottom of the chamber. For the K1, it is near the top, on the side.) Place the edge of the battery under this lip, and then drop the rest of the battery into the battery chamber.

4. Place the battery cover over the battery, then slide it down (toward the memory chip end of the phone) to engage the release latch.

Troubleshoot A Canon Powershot A70

The Canon A70 is a small, 3.2 megapixel camera that is convenient because of its compact size and its use of affordable CF cards. The image quality of the camera is respectable, and the interface is simple and user-friendly. The camera is not perfect, but there are easy solutions to the camera's most common problems.

Instructions

1. Push the "On/Off" button on the top of the camera to check if your Powershot A70 is having trouble turning on. If it remains turned off, make sure that the CF card cover is properly shut, and try again. If you still have trouble, open up the battery compartment, and make sure the batteries are placed correctly in the camera. Try using fresh NiMH or Canon AA batteries in case the current ones are dead. If you are still having no luck, remove the batteries, and clean out the battery compartment. Try turning on the camera again.

2. Check to see if the A70 is in replay mode as the first troubleshooting step if you have trouble recording in video mode. If the camera is in replay mode, press the button with the boxed-green triangle. Make sure that the CF card is not full. If the A70 still does not record, the flash might be charging. If so, an orange light will be blinking to indicate that the flash is charging. Once the flash is charged, the orange light will cease blinking, and the camera will be ready for shooting.

3. Retract the A70's lens automatically by leaving it idle for several minutes. If your A70 fails to do this, check the battery and CF card compartment doors. If one or both of them are open, shut them, and turn the camera on and off. The lens should retract.

4. Deal with batteries that run out abnormally fast on the A70 with several simple troubleshooting solutions. If you are working in a cold environment and your camera batteries are running out quickly, the leak of heat likely has obstructed battery function. To prevent this, keep the camera's battery close to you body or wrapped in a heating pad before use. If you have not used your batteries for over a year, their charge capacity might be lowered. After several charges, the batteries should be re-calibrated and last longer.

5. Use a tripod or flash to help prevent blurry pictures, which often result from movement when the photographer is shooting. Blur most also often occurs in low light. If you are in low light, try using a tripod or turning on the camera's flash.

Simple Way To Make A Photo Silhouette

You can even use the photo silhouettes for business purposes including presentations or advertisements.

Photo silhouettes can lend a new, interesting perspective into old pictures. There are many complicated and technical ways to make a photo silhouette that take up a lot of unnecessary time and resources, but it is possible to make quality photo silhouettes without specialized computer programs. This can be a creative project to undertake with your family and friends.

Instructions

Adjusting an Existing Photo

1. Choose an image of a person in a relaxed position. Avoid people with crazy hair or bulky clothing that obscures their shape, or your silhouette can look malformed. Remember, when you reduce an image to a silhouette, a backpack or purse can become an unidentifiable mass.

2. Draw a black outline around the person in the image. Use a felt tip pen instead of a ball tip to avoid accidentally scratching or denting the picture. Allow the ink to dry before you continue.

3. Move the image to a work surface you are not afraid to scratch. Cut around the outside of the black outline with a craft knife. Carefully separate the figure from the picture and lift it out.

4. Examine the edges of the cut carefully to see if any signs of the black line remain. Cut away any leftover traces of the outline.

5. Put craft glue on the back of the picture. Set the image over a black piece of construction paper. Allow the glue to dry before you continue.

6. Cut off any part of construction paper that protrudes further than the edges of the picture. Place the image in a color copier and create a copy of the image. This gives you a flat copy of the image where the silhouette is clearly visible.

Taking a Silhouette Photo

7. Position your model so they face away from a source of light. The lighting should be a backdrop in the photo while the model blocks the sun, creating a silhouette.

8. Wait until the sun begins to set, as this will provide the best lighting to create a silhouette photo. Turn on your digital camera.

9. Turn off your camera's flash. Examine the screen on your camera to determine what the picture will look like. You should see the light in the background through the camera, but your model should be a black outline.

10. Snap several pictures in quick succession. Multiple pictures provide you with a wide range of options with different lighting as the sun sets. Choose the best picture from the group.

The History Of The Leg Warmers

Legwarmers are an icon of 1980s women's fashion that have experienced a resurgence in recent years. The first legwarmers were intended for dancers but quickly became a fashion-oriented phenomenon. Today, legwarmers are a fashionable items that can be found in stores like Urban Outfitters, H&M and Anthropologie.

History

Legwarmers were invented in 1980 by KD Dance to keep dancers' legs warm until they've performed an adequate warm-up routine. They surged in popularity upon the release of the 1983 teen film "Flashdance." This turned legwarmers into more of a fashion trend. In keeping with general 1980s fashion, legwarmers were usually brightly colored, often neon. Girls wore legwarmers fashionably until the early 1990s. They never went extinct, because dancers kept using them. But they were not worn fashionably again until 2004 when they made a resurgence. Many women now wear modern legwarmers, which have more of a textured, thick appearance than the 1980s styles.

Function

Legwarmers are pieces of clothing that women wear as an accessory. Usually a substitute or addition to stockings, legwarmers are intended to be visible when worn. Ballet dancers sometimes wear legwarmers to keep the tendons and calf and ankle muscles warm until their legs have warmed up; legwarmers are then removed for the remainder of the dance or practice.

Size

Legwarmers are usually a little bit thicker than socks. Most of the time, legwarmers stretch from the bottom of the leg to about mid-calf range. They are always tubular and tend to stretch in order to fit all leg sizes. Legwarmers can be shorter or longer, but the average length is approximately 2 feet.

Types

The shorter types of legwarmers are more often known as "ankle warmers," and they usually do not even reach as high as the calf. Some legwarmers are crocheted or knitted by hand, and others are made in factories for mass production. New legwarmers sometimes have buttons. Some dancers use legwarmers that cover their entire foot and come with grips to prevent slippage.

Misconceptions

A common misconception is that legwarmers are simply used to warm the legs. This is only sometimes true. Legwarmers are usually just fashion accessories. Some dancers use legwarmers to keep their lower calf warm before a routine, but the purpose for keeping this small part of the body warm is debatable. The term "warm" is better understood in the context of "warming up" for a physical activity, or loosening muscles before engaging in intense workouts. Legwarmers are always removed by dancers at the end of a warm-up.

Cheapest Way To Convert Vhs To Dvd

There are several inexpensive ways to convert VHS tapes to DVD discs, but the one that is best for you depends upon the specific equipment you have on hand. Regardless, though, as long as you have a VHS player and a computer with a recordable DVD drive, the only expense you'll have is for connecting cables and blank DVDs. Here are some options for you.

Direct to Disc

If you have a VCR player and a recordable DVD player, you can simply hook the output jacks of the VCR into the input jacks of the DVD. Put a blank disc into the DVD player, and then set the player to "record." Then press the "play" button on the VCR. You can monitor the audio on a pair of headphones plugged into the DVD's headphone jack.

Direct to Computer

If your computer system includes a recordable DVD drive, it will also have software that will enable you to take input from external devices (like video cameras and VCRs) and simultaneously burn the data on to a DVD. In this case, simply connect the output jacks of the VCR to the input jacks of the video/sound card on the back of the computer. Place a blank DVD in the drive and open your resident DVD recording software. It will have an "input" or "import" switch that will have to be set for "VCR" or "analog" input. Press the "play" button on your VCR and then click the "record" button on the DVD software.

Two-Step Recording

There may be instances in which you might want copies of the video both on your computer's hard drive, and then also burned to a DVD. In that case, follow the instructions in Section 2, but save the input as a file, instead of burning it directly to disc. Once the file has been saved to your hard drive, you can then burn it to a blank DVD disc.

Clean A Clogged Canon Print Head

Printers in offices are used by many people and need to be cleaned periodically.

Canon is a company that sells inkjet printers for home and office use. If you have an inkjet printer, then you probably know that it is possible for the print head inside the printer to become clogged with ink. Once this happens, the quality of everything you print will be compromised. You will not be able to enjoy the same performance from your Canon inkjet printer as you're used to. To resolve this issue, you can attempt to clean the clogged Canon print head.

Instructions

1. Remove the print head from your Canon printer. The print head will have a small notch on the top with an elongated rubber seal on the bottom. This is the structure you can expect from Canon printers.

2. Saturate a cotton swab in hot water. Use it on the print head while it's still warm.

3. Rub the cotton swab over the area of the print head that's clogged. This will most likely be in the ink channel of the Canon print head. The moisture from the warm water will help unclog the dried ink.

4. Complete this process as fast as possible. The types of print heads found in Canon printers should not be left out for longer than a few minutes.

Recharge Alkaline Batteries

Rechargeable alkaline batteries were originally developed in Canada by Battery Technologies, Inc. and licensed for sale to several U.S. manufacturers. Also called RAM (rechargeable alkaline manganese) batteries, they have an indefinite shelf life, unlike nickel-cadmium or lithium batteries. However, while you can recharge alkaline batteries of this type 100 or more times, discharging the batteries completely will sharply reduce the number of recharges that they will accept. Rechargeable alkaline batteries are thus best used in low power devices like remote controls so that frequent charging is convenient.

Instructions

1. Make sure that you get a battery charger designed to recharge alkaline batteries. Rayovac, Powerstream and other manufacturers market chargers ranging from $10 to $50. Do not use a charger intended for nickel-cadmium (NiCad) batteries. This type of charger cannot detect when alkaline batteries are at full charge and will overcharge them, damaging the batteries.

2. Recharge alkaline batteries when they have used 25 percent of their charge to maximize their useful life. Each time you drain a rechargeable alkaline batteries to less than 75 percent charge it shortens the life of the batteries. The deeper the discharge, the more it will shorten the life of the batteries.

3. Place the alkaline batteries in the charger and set it for proper charging (make sure that the charger is plugged in). If you are using a universal charger set the voltage to no more than 1.65 volts. Charging at higher voltages will cause changes in the chemical composition of the manganese oxide in the batteries, damaging them. If you are using a timer to stop the charging when complete, consult your batteries' manufacturer's specifications for the time required. Most partial charges take a couple of hours. Fully discharged alkaline batteries may have to recharge overnight.

4. Recondition rechargeable alkaline batteries that have been deeply discharged. A single recharge won't bring fully discharged alkaline batteries back to full capacity. You will need to go through several charging cycles without further deep discharges to fully restore the batteries to normal operation.

Titanium Batteries Vs Nimh

Batteries are an important source of power for your gadgets.

Modern gadgets can be powered by both titanium batteries and NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries. These batteries, while often interchangeable, have a number of advantages and disadvantages. Knowing the differences between these batteries can mean getting more out of the gadgets you use.

About NiMH Batteries

NiMH batteries are rechargeable. NiMH batteries have for their negative electrodes a hydrogen-absorbing alloy, and the batteries' positive electrodes are made of nickel oxyhydroxide (NiOOH). NiMH batteries are less susceptible to functionality issues than their popular counterpart, the NiCad (nickel cadmium) batteries. NiMH batteries are most often used in a wide range of consumer portable electronics, as well as in electric vehicles and industrial applications.

About Titanium Batteries

Titanium batteries are an upgrade to standard alkaline batteries and can be either disposable or rechargeable. In titanium batteries, small quantities of a compound containing titanium have been fused into the batteries' cores in order to improve performance, mainly by decreasing the batteries' internal electrical resistance. With a lower resistance, less electrical energy is discharged as heat, and thus more is reserved for whatever device the battery is charging. Tests have consistently shown that titanium-enhanced batteries perform better than non-titanium batteries.

Which Battery is Best

Depending on the device being used and the situation it is used in, you may prefer different batteries. You should consult your electronic device's instruction manual to determine what battery type is best to use. But whether you are using a standard alkaline battery or a NiMH battery, titanium-enhanced batteries usually work best. Titanium NiMH batteries and titanium alkaline batteries are available at most major electronics retailers.

Tips To Repair A Jvc Vcr

JVC Electronics has had years of experience making video cassette recorders (VCRs) along with other home electronics such as televisions, DVD players and home audio receivers. Still, as with most electronics, JVC VCRs occasionally have technical problems and operation issues. Fortunately, there are several ways to solve some of the most common problems involving JVC VCRs.

Remote Issue

For Digital VCRs such as the JVC HM-DSR100U, the remote control sometimes fails to control the VCR when it is set to the D-VHS Mode. This can be repaired by quickly resetting the VCR connection with the remote. Empty the player of VHS, power off the VCR and press the "Mode" button until the VHS remote control mode reaches D-VHS. Once there, activate the "Address" button until the D-VHS light blinks. When the light blinks, type "222" into the number pad on the remote control and press the "Address" button again until the D-VHS light blinks. When this action is complete, load a cassette into the player and activate the play button on the remote. If this does not restore functionality to your remote control, repeat the steps. If that doesn't work, contact a certified professional.

Playback

Occasionally, even standard VCRs such as the JVC HR-S5902 don't provide playback. This can be caused by a connection problem but can also be the result of a dirty or damaged head unit. For connection issues, power down the VCR and inspect the component wiring for errors during hookup. Additionally, inspect the wires for frayed or broken ends or burned leads and replace if damaged. If this does not restore playback, clean the head unit of the system by using a "head cleaner" cassette. Play the cassette for a few seconds with the volume set to "Mute" to brush clean the head unit.

Recording

Issues regarding the recording feature of VCRs can even affect dual-cassette models, such as the JVC HR-S6970AG, that are designed for dubbing a recording from one cassette to another. If the VCR will not record on a VHS cassette on which you have already recorded home videos or other personal content, check the cassette's title edge (opposite from the tape edge) for holes. If an uncovered hole exists here, it means the cassette was copy protected and is not eligible for re-recording. Repair this problem by using tape to cover the hole. When the hole is covered, the cassette will be recordable. Remember to be aware of and follow all relevant copyright laws when dubbing video footage.

Assemble A Light Umbrella

A typical light umbrella modifies light in studio photography.

Photographers use light umbrellas to diffuse or soften the light that will fall on the subject to be photographed. Light umbrellas usually come in a kit that includes a photographic strobe and a light stand.

Instructions

1. A tripod base provides stability to photographic equipment.

Pull out the legs of the light umbrella stand, which is usually a tripod. Firmly grip the center column of the light stand and fold out the three legs. Make sure it stands on a flat surface.

2. Screw in the swivel or strobe light mount on top of the light stand. Hand-tighten the screw to make sure its securely in place.

3. A mounted strobe light tilted upwards to bounce flash.

Attach the photographic strobe light unit on the swivel mount. Tilt the unit upwards a bit, but not in a 90-degree position to create even light.

4. Photo shows how a fully open light umbrella looks like.

Press the knob to open up the light umbrella. Insert the umbrella's handle end to the slot in the swivel or strobe light mount.

5. Adjust the height of the light stand in a way that it is at least two feet higher than the subject to be photographed. Plug the strobe unit in. Take test shots and view results from your camera's LCD for the light umbrella's correct height and distance placement from the subject.

Buy Black & White Film In Bulk

Kodak, Ilford, Kentmere and Fujifilm still manufacture black and white film. Both the traditional type and the C-41 process film that produces black and white prints but develops in color chemicals are available. Film generally is less expensive in bulk.

Instructions

1. Contact the manufacturer directly if you need a large quantity of black and white film. While individual rolls or cartridges of film generally may be purchased from retail outlets or online, ordering directly from the factory will get a shipment of fresh film delivered to your door.

2. Check a photo supply store for deals on buying film in bulk. Also, ask if they have old black and white film they'd like to get rid of as a lot. Photography stores often have sales on outdated film.

3. Order online from photography specialists such as Adorama or B&H Photo. Online businesses often provide discounts for bulk shipments. They also periodically offer sales.

4. Try eBay. Many photographers have or are making the switch to digital and may be clearing out their film. Even if it is out of date, black and white film retains a great deal of its quality even years later. Unlike color film, black and white doesn't not have sensitive dyes that can change over time. Apart from out-of-date film, eBay also often has bulk film for sale that is new and fresh.

5. Check out garage sales and flea markets. Many people long ago switched to digital, but they may only be cleaning out their closets now. Admittedly, these finds probably will be way out of date, but that isn't as much of a problem for black and white film.

6. Buy long rolls of film and load it yourself into reusable film cartridges. You will need a bulk film loader and you must be able to do it in total darkness. In this case, you purchase long rolls of your particular type film, for example, 35mm, then put the roll into the loader and load it into the cartridges. You can buy a loader and cartridges as well as the film at photo stores and online at photographic specialty stores.

Dental Radiography Training

Dental radiography training programs teach students X-ray techonology.

Dental radiography involves producing a photographic image on film by allowing X-rays to pass through teeth and supporting structures. Training in dental radiography typically exists as part of educational programs in clinical dental assisting and dental hygiene as well as part of dental school programs. Dental radiography is critical for diagnosing oral conditions in patients. Dental assistants in some states must be certified to take X-rays after completing training courses or work experience, while dental hygienists and dentists must be licensed to perform many tasks, including taking radiographs.

Equipment

When studying dental radiography, students learn manipulate the three component parts of an intraoral dental X-ray machine--the tubehead, extension arm and control panel, according to the book "Dental Radiography: Principles and Techniques" used in 2009 training programs. Classes also cover use a film holder, which holds and aligns an X-ray film in a patient's mouth. In addition, students learn the various parts of an X-ray film and the types of intraoral film--periapical, bite-wing and occlusal--used to examine different parts of a tooth or the jaw.

Safety

Radiation safety is a critical part of dental radiography training. Students learn that only the dentist can prescribe radiographs. They also study the importance of a collimator, or a lead plate with a hole in the middle, in restricting the size and shape of an X-ray beam as it leaves the X-ray tubehead to help reduce patient exposure to radiation. In addition, training programs cover the value of a thyroid collar and lead apron in protecting a patient's thyroid gland, reproductive organs and blood-forming tissues from scatter radiation. For protecting themselves when taking dental radiographs, students learn to stand at least 6 feet from the X-ray tubehead during exposure.

Techniques

Students in a dental radiography training program learn take radiographs using two separate methods called the paralleling technique and the bisecting technique. They also learn to take X-rays of the front teeth first before moving to the premolars and molars located farther back in the mouth. In addition, aspiring dental radiographers learn perform the bite-wing X-ray technique, which helps dentists examine the spaces between teeth to detect cavities. Dental radiography training programs cover common film placement errors and correct these problems as well.

Mounting

Mounting radiographs is an important part of dental radiography training programs. Students learn that mounted films are easier and quicker to view and interpret. They study arrange dental radiographs in anatomic order, which refers to how the teeth are arranged in dental arches. Students additionally learn pinpoint normal anatomic landmarks, dental restorations/materials and oral problems such as lesions.

Extraoral/Digital Radiography

Dental radiography training programs additionally teach students about extraoral film placed outside the mouth during X-ray exposure. These films include panoramic film used to show the upper and lower jaws as well as cephalometric film, which show the soft tissues and bones of the face. Courses also cover use duplicating film to make an identical copy of radiographs. Students additionally learn that digital radiography requires less radiation than conventional radiography, how digital radiography works and the equipment needed to take digital radiographs.

Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications is the joint venture between Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson and Sony Corporation established in October 2001. The company currently offers fifty-six phones grouped into four different types: Xperia, GreenHeart, Cyber-shot and Walkman. Offering a large variety of phone types, the company seeks to appeal to a wide and diverse customer base.

Xperia

Sony Ericsson offers seven Android smart phones as part of its Xperia line. Sony presents the feature phone of the line, the Xperia X10 as the "ultimate Android smart phone." The phone has the ability to capture high definition quality video in high definition and includes an 8.1-megapixel camera. Additional applications for the phone can be bought from the Android Market. While the Xperia Pureness offers a see-through glass screen, the Xperia X2 comes with a QWERTY keyboard and 3.2-inch touch screen. In its third financial quarter of 2010, Sony Ericsson launched its Xperia model in new markets including the United States and China. The company's marketing strategy focuses primarily on its smart phone products, which make up more than fifty percent of total sales as of December 2010.

Cyber-shot

Cyber-shot is Sony Ericsson's line of six camera phones. The C903 has a slide and shoot design, auto-focus and includes a 5-megapixel camera with face detection and GPS features as well as the ability to geo-tag, or add geographical metadata, to pictures. The 8.1-megapixel camera included in the C905 phone offers Xenon flash for night and indoor photography. Another camera phone option, the C702 can be used in any weather, as it is both dust and splash resistant.

Walkman

For music lovers, Sony Ericsson offers Walkman, its line of twelve music phones. One such phone, the W995, features a 2.6-inch screen, clear audio, and the ability to easily transfer music to and from any computer. While the W715 allows users to watch videos on YouTube with its wireless Internet connection, the W902 has enough memory for more than eight thousand songs and dedicated music keys. The thin W890i allows users to create music playlists according to their moods with its SensMe feature. The W508, on the other hand, features shake control and interchangeable colors.

GreenHeart

The GreenHeart line from Sony Ericsson features five phones with environmentally conscious designs. The phones feature a "green core" manufactured with recycled plastics, waterborne paint and an energy efficient display screen; they emit 15 percent less carbon dioxide than other phones. GreenHeart phones are not only appealing because of their environmentally friendly design, however. The Aspen, for example, is meant for business use and features the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and the Office Suite as well as a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. The Elm offers a noise shield and Facebook and Twitter access.

About Camera Phones

Cameras have become one of the most sought after accessories on cell phones. The chance to instantly transmit photos is just irresistible. Camera phones are fast becoming the biggest seller of all the choices of cell phones. They are no longer considered something people want, but rather something they need.

History

The first patents for a device similar to the camera phones of today were filed back in the 1960s. But it was not until the 1990s and the invention of CMOS active pixel image sensor--the ability to put a camera on a computer chip--that camera phones became viable. The first camera phones marketed in the United States were made by Sanyo and marketed by Sprint in 2002. Thuraya marketed the first satellite camera phone in 2006.

Features

The most important feature to look for in a camera phone is the amount of megapixels. The more megapixels a camera has, the better the quality and resolution the pictures will have. Camera phones also have other features including the ability to save the pictures to be downloaded later, play games, record music and video, text messaging and receive news, sports and weather information. And they come in just about any color you can imagine.

Considerations

You need to take into consideration that you may be invading someone's privacy when you take a picture. A person cannot tell if you are talking on the phone or taking a picture and if the person is on private property, you could be in violation of the law. You also need to consider that your cell phone company will charge a monthly fee for sending the pictures. Cost of the phone is often not a big consideration. Sometimes you can even get a phone for free with an extended contract.

Effects

Camera phones allow you to take a picture and transmit it instantly to anyone anywhere. And since most people have their cell phone with them at all times, a camera is always handy and ready for the surprise picture. Pictures taken by ordinary people with their camera phones have helped solve crimes and resulted in the photographers getting recognition on local and national news programs.

Warning

Camera phones are banned from many places, including government buildings, courts, museums, theaters and schools. If you are caught using a camera phone in a restricted area, you could be asked to leave or have the camera phone confiscated until you do. In government buildings, you could end up in more serious trouble.

Epic 4g Tricks

The Epic 4G is a phone made by Samsung and released by Sprint. The phone runs on the Android operating system and is packed full of features, such as a 5-megapixel camera and touch-screen, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability and access to over 65,000 third-party applications in the Android Market. This phone also runs on Sprint's 4G speed network where available, making Internet access very fast. Using the Epic 4G is easy.

Text Entry Tips

There are two ways to enter text on the QWERTY keyboard. Swype is the default method. Words are entered by sliding a finger from letter to letter, only lifting between words. To change to regular text entry, where a finger tap gesture is required on each letter to select it, go to your main menu and choose "Settings." Select "Language & Keyboard," then choose "Select Input Method." Tap "Android Keyboard" to select it.

Change Display Screen Wallpaper

Your display screen can have a variety of types of wallpapers. The Epic 4G supports choosing a photo from your gallery, a preloaded image or a preloaded live wallpaper. To choose a wallpaper, go to your home screen and press the "Menu" key. Select "Wallpaper." Choose "Gallery" to choose a wallpaper from your personal photo gallery. Choose "Live Wallpapers" to choose from the preloaded animated wallpapers. Choose "Wallpaper Gallery" to select from the preloaded wallpaper images. Tap on "Set Wallpaper" or "Save" to make your changes.

Battery Conservation Tips

Several features of the Epic 4G phone can drain your battery quickly if they are turned on. Change these features to make the battery last longer in between charges. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G data can all be turned off to save battery power under "Menu," "Settings" and "Wireless & Networks." The brightness of the screen also can make a big difference on battery life. Adjust this under "Menu," "Settings" and "Display." Having a static wallpaper rather than a live wallpaper also will help conserve the battery.

Widget Tricks

Widgets are applications that can be placed on the home screen of Android devices. These are different from shortcuts, because they appear as onscreen applications. To add a widget to your home screen, press the "Home" button and tap and hold your finger on an empty space on the screen. Under the "Add to Home Screen" area, select "Samsung Widgets" or "Android Widgets." Choose a widget to add, such as Analog Clock, Facebook or Music. The widget will be placed on your screen.

What Kind Of Camera Do I Need To Be A Photographer

Professional photographers often have several different cameras to work with.

Photography has come a long way since 1826, when the first permanent image was taken by the French inventor Joseph Nic phore Ni pce, National Geogrpahic states. Kodak, Olympus, Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Pentax and all the others have recently transitioned so as to participate in the world of the digital image. If you want to move further into the field of photography -- for personal or professional reasons -- you'll find quite an array of cameras to consider.

Film SLRs

The SLR can be found in film and digital camera styles.

Yes, they are still around. Many photographers continue to use film for particular qualities they might not get in digital media. The popular 35 mm SLR (single lens reflex) cameras vary in features, and many come with a standard 50 mm lens. You can, however, purchase additional lenses from fish eyes (which distorts a very wide angle image) and wide angle (which captures a large area) to zooms (lenses that move in and out) and telephoto (lenses that can see longer distances). Some lenses are long and may require the use of a tripod to ensure crisp, clear photographs. Film development can be done at a lab, photo shop and even some drugstores, but you can also learn the art of developing film and making your own prints.

Digital SLRs

The type of photography you plan to do may also contribute to the choice of camera.

Similar to the film SLR, you can find many versions in digital cameras. According to National Geographic, the first digital camera was invented in 1975 by Steven Sasson, an electrical engineer for Kodak. The digital SLR is more expensive than smaller digitals, with quality cameras costing from $2000 to $10,000, as of June 2011, depending on the equipment and lenses you purchase. Digital camera images are uploaded into computers, altered and manipulated with digital image software or turned into prints from the image card, which is a small card or disc that stores pictures, much like a computer would.

Other Digital

Small digital cameras are lightweight and easy to use.

Smaller digital cameras are readily available and some photographers may choose to have one or more of these as well as an SLR. If you want to be a serious photographer, you'd seldom use the smaller digitals and would invest in high quality equipment, perhaps several Nikons, (film and digital), and a Canon, and the latest lenses available for each. Although these smaller cameras are versatile, lightweight and comparably inexpensive, they are mostly used for snapshots by amateur photographers or for personal use.

View Cameras

View cameras have a long history.

One of the earliest types of camera and popular in the 1800s and 1900s, the view camera is also sometimes called the box, portrait or panoramic camera. Professional photographers use these, and many types of digital versions are available. These cameras can be quite expensive, running into the tens of thousands of dollars. You may be able to find older style film versions, though, to experiment with the large format--some collectors will periodically release an old camera or you can find them in antique shops and through some online sites or forums that share appreciation for view cameras.
